Dear Arijit,
I am writing this letter to express my feelings about how I felt attending your concert.
Firstly, all the performers were best. I was highly oblighed to see Arijit Singh performing live. I have listened to almost all the songs of yours and it has been since then I am manifesting to see you performing live in front of my eyes. To be honest, it was superb experience having you perform live and able to hear your voice live has something else that cannot be expressed in words.
Lastly, It was a pleasure meeting and hearing you live. Its like one of my dream came true. And also I would like to thank my company management team for inviting you in our function and having outstanding arrangements.
With regards,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The letter clearly conveys admiration for the singer, especially in “it was superb experience” and the statement that a dream came true. However, it does not address two essential bullet points: there are no details about your own musical activities, and you do not explain how you would like the singer to help you. The thanks to the company management team is also not a substitute for these requested details. As a result, the task is only minimally addressed, despite the relevant praise. The response is also 17 words below the required minimum, leaving little space to develop the missing content. Add specific information about your musical experience and make a clear, practical request for support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter has a recognisable opening, body and closing, and the ideas about the concert are generally grouped together. The sequence from describing the performance to expressing gratitude is understandable. However, “Firstly” and “Lastly” suggest a list, but there is no clear progression through all three requested points; the musical activities and request for help are absent. The second paragraph also shifts to thanking the company without a strong link to the main purpose of writing to the singer. Use paragraphs to organise the performance, your own musical activities, and your request, with transitions that show how these ideas connect.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary to express enthusiasm, including “performing live,” “outstanding arrangements,” and “a dream came true.” These choices make your positive feelings clear, and the message remains understandable. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “all the performers were best” and “highly oblighed” do not express your meaning naturally, while “manifesting to see you” is an awkward choice in this context. “Having you perform live” is also less natural than a more direct expression of enjoying the performance. Aim for precise, conventional phrases such as “your performance was outstanding” and “I had hoped to see you live.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response includes both simple sentences and some attempts at longer structures, such as “I have listened to almost all the songs of yours and it has been since then…” The main message is usually clear, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “it was superb experience” needs an article, “Its like one of my dream came true” has problems with the contraction, tense and singular/plural agreement, and “able to hear your voice live has something else” is not a complete, well-formed construction. Capitalisation is also inconsistent in “Lastly, It.” Use shorter, controlled sentences where needed, and check articles, verb forms and agreement when revising.
