Dear Mr. Jhon,
My name is Austin and I am writing this letter to express my joy, I attended your concert in Madison Square Garden, New York on 29th July 2026. It was such an amazing event overall and the artist performed extremely well but the things I learned from you are worth addressing.
Firstly, witnessing you performing live was just felt unreal to me. I could not take take my eyes off of you from the moment you took the stage and your charisma forced me to notice every little things you did while performing. Crowds started to take their seats couple of hours before the performance that allowed me take my position on time. Your whole band was just amazing. It will be amazing you could help me
Yours sincerely,
David

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to address all parts of the task fully. While you mention your feelings about the performance, the sections regarding your musical activities and the request for help are severely underdeveloped. You mention 'the things I learned from you' but do not specify what your musical activities are, nor do you explain how you would like the singer to help you. Furthermore, the response is under the 150-word minimum, which significantly impacts the development of your ideas. To improve, ensure each bullet point is expanded with specific details and examples to meet the length requirement and provide a complete response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter has a basic structure with an appropriate salutation and closing. However, the progression of ideas is disjointed. The transition between the concert experience and your musical activities is abrupt, and the final paragraph lacks a clear connection to the previous points. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', the overall flow is hindered by the brevity of the paragraphs and the lack of logical development between sentences. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea that leads naturally into the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. You use some basic descriptive words like 'amazing' and 'unreal', which are repetitive. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'take take' (repetition) and 'every little things' (pluralization error). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated adjectives and collocations related to music and performance, and ensure you check for simple grammatical errors in your word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors that occasionally impede the flow. For example, 'the things I learned from you are worth addressing' is grammatically sound, but 'It will be amazing you could help me' is missing a conjunction or preposition. There are also punctuation and agreement errors, such as 'every little things' instead of 'every little thing'. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that complex sentences are constructed with correct connecting words.
