I had attended multiple concert in my life, but your performance completly amazed me. The sound system and songs were so energetic. All of my friends loved your performance.

I also want to inform you that I have my own music production company and we have almost worked with more than 100 singers. We love to design the background music for the songs.

In the next month we are planning to organize a music concert, and we also want you to be part of that concert so that we can attract more audience. I am also interested in desinging background music for your songs.

I hope we will work together with each other in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter covers all three bullet points: expressing feelings about the performance, describing musical activities, and requesting help. However, the response is under the 150-word minimum, which negatively impacts the development of ideas. While the purpose is clear, the explanation of how the singer could help is somewhat brief. To improve, you should expand on the specific nature of the collaboration or the 'help' requested, as the current request to 'be part of that concert' is a bit abrupt. Because the response is under-length, it does not fully satisfy the requirements of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. Each paragraph focuses on a specific point from the prompt. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the transition between the second and third paragraphs could be smoother. The use of 'I also' at the start of two consecutive paragraphs makes the structure feel slightly mechanical. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring a more natural flow between ideas would help elevate the score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the message to be conveyed clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'music production company' and 'background music'. However, there are some spelling errors, such as 'writng' and 'desinging', and some word choices are basic, such as 'very good' or 'energetic'. To reach a higher band, you should aim for more precise and sophisticated vocabulary related to the music industry and express your appreciation with more varied adjectives. The range is sufficient for the task but lacks the flexibility required for higher bands.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I had attended multiple concert' (should be 'concerts') and 'work together with each other' (which is redundant). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and spelling slips throughout. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and pluralization, and try to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures with greater accuracy.
