Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response covers all three bullet points, but the development of ideas is insufficient due to the significant under-length. While you mention your musical background and desire to collaborate, the explanation of how you would like the singer to help you is vague and lacks detail. Furthermore, the letter is 30 words short of the 150-word minimum, which negatively impacts the overall task completion. To improve, you should expand on your specific musical activities and provide a more concrete, professional proposal for how the singer could assist you, ensuring the response meets the required length.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into three paragraphs, which is appropriate for this task. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat mechanical. The use of cohesive devices is limited; for example, 'Moreover' is used correctly, but other transitions are missing or awkward, such as the run-on sentence in the second paragraph: 'As you are bollywod singer and you sing the love song I will help to make beats which will help me to grow more if i work with you my skill will enhance.' Improving the use of punctuation and linking words would help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'quilaity' instead of 'quality' and 'bollywod' instead of 'Bollywood'. The phrasing is often simplistic, such as 'I truly love that' or 'I want to inform you'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated collocations and ensure accurate spelling. For instance, instead of saying 'make a peaceful beats', you could use 'compose melodic arrangements'. Expanding your range of vocabulary will help you express your ideas more naturally and effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentences, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede readability. Examples include 'I was a visitor in your concert' (should be 'at your concert'), 'I amp playing' (typo), and the lack of proper sentence boundaries in the second paragraph. Subject-verb agreement and article usage also need attention. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures and proofreading for common errors like missing commas and incorrect verb forms before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
