Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly expressed your feelings about the concert, provided relevant details about your musical background, and explained how you would like the singer to assist you. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a performer, and the purpose of the communication is clear throughout. To reach a higher band, you could expand slightly more on the specific musical techniques you hope to learn, as the request for help with 'music softness' is a bit vague. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Moreover', and 'Currently' to link your ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or repetitive. For instance, the connection between the second and third paragraphs could be smoother. The use of referencing is generally clear, though some sentence structures are a bit simplistic, which affects the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that ideas transition more naturally between sentences would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using phrases like 'over the moon' and 'life time memorable moment' to convey your enthusiasm. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'singing concert' (should be 'concert') and 'music softness' (which is not a standard musical term). You also have some minor errors in word form, such as 'became' instead of 'become'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise vocabulary usage to reach a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing. Examples include 'I m writing' (missing apostrophe), 'to hear you in live concert' (should be 'at a live concert'), and 'I am right now good with singing' (awkward phrasing). There are also issues with verb tenses and articles throughout the text. While your meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from being considered highly accurate. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and correct article usage would be beneficial.
