Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points: expressing feelings about the performance, detailing musical activities, and requesting collaboration. However, the development of these points is somewhat uneven. The tone is inconsistent, particularly when mentioning the singer's financial situation, which is inappropriate and detracts from the professional nature of the request. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the ideas are not fully developed in a way that sounds natural or persuasive. The response covers the requirements, but the content lacks the necessary social nuance expected in a formal or semi-formal letter to a public figure.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical. Transitions between ideas are often abrupt, such as the sudden shift from discussing your own musical background to the singer's alleged financial crisis. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow of the argument is hindered by the lack of sophisticated linking words. While the overall progression is logical enough to be understood, the lack of variety in cohesive devices keeps this in the mid-range.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'Singing Perform' instead of 'performance' and 'Money Crysis' instead of 'financial difficulties'. The phrase 'Honestly Spiking' is a misspelling of 'speaking'. While you are able to convey your meaning, the range of vocabulary is limited, and the errors in word formation and spelling are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on using more precise terminology related to music and professional communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tense (e.g., 'I want to come At your music concert in Last month'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary capitalization and incorrect usage of commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the text from reaching a higher band. You should focus on mastering basic sentence structures and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement and tense consistency.
