I felt so happy and that was memorable concert for me in my whole life. Apart from this I wanted to tell you that your performance was so impressive and you were so energetic.

I have keen interest in music since my childhood. Whenever I am free, I always listen to music and from your concert i heard new songs which were so good. I learnt a lot of from your concert.

I also wanted to discover some new and different kind of music. I wanted to request you that if you can help me to make new music or some good advice that will use for me to make new music. I would be great appreciate to you. Also, what can I do the best to make the music and how can it work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points of the prompt. You clearly express your feelings about the concert, describe your interest in music, and make a request for guidance. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, the request for help is quite vague ('how can it work'), which makes the purpose of the letter feel slightly underdeveloped. To reach a higher band, ensure that your ideas are expanded with more specific details or examples, such as mentioning what specific instrument you play or what kind of music you are interested in creating.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your message. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite basic and sometimes repetitive. You rely heavily on simple connectors like 'and' or 'also'. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to show the relationship between your ideas, such as 'consequently', 'furthermore', or 'in addition to this'. Additionally, some sentences feel a bit disjointed, and better transition phrases would help the flow of the letter significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your message clearly. You use some appropriate terms like 'memorable', 'energetic', and 'keen interest'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'I would be great appreciate to you' (should be 'I would greatly appreciate your help'). To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive sentence structures. Expanding your range of adjectives and verbs will help you express your thoughts with more nuance and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'It was great experience' (missing an article), 'I learnt a lot of from your concert' (incorrect preposition usage), and 'what can I do the best to make the music' (awkward phrasing). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and occur frequently. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed accurately without missing prepositions or auxiliary verbs.
