Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three bullet points: you praise the concert, describe your guitar playing and performances, and ask for help with focus and learning new tunes. The personal details about school and community events make the letter relevant. However, some parts are not fully developed or clearly targeted to the singer. For example, “the environment in your play” does not explain which aspects of his performance impressed you, and the request for help is broad: asking for advice on concentration and guitar tunes would be clearer if you specified what kind of guidance or support you hope he can offer. The opening and closing are also rather formal for writing directly to a singer. Develop the praise and make the requested help more specific.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it opens with the reason for writing, then discusses the concert, your musical background, and your request. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these topics, and phrases such as “From the childhood” and “Nowadays” signal a change in focus. Some connections are less smooth, however. The first paragraph combines a greeting, personal location, and purpose in one long sentence, while “With that” does not clearly show how the request about concentration relates to learning guitar tunes. The final sentence also ends abruptly without a clear sign-off punctuation. Use shorter, more clearly linked sentences and transitions that show the relationship between each point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “nostalgia,” “pursue career in singing,” “community events,” and “dedicated,” which helps convey your musical interests. There are also attempts at expressive, informal language, such as “people was vibing,” but this is not a natural or suitably controlled phrase for this letter. Several spelling and word-choice errors—“expercience,” “writng,” “youe,” and “millions of view”—make the writing less polished, and phrases such as “the environment in your play” are unclear. Aim for accurate collocations and a consistent tone: describe the concert atmosphere and the singer’s performance directly, and check spelling and plural forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, for example when describing your school performances and first song. However, control is uneven, and errors sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “I am from Anand Gujarat, and I hope…,” where punctuation is needed, “the way people was vibing,” which has a subject–verb agreement error, and “I also wrote my first song … it got viral,” where two independent clauses are joined incorrectly. There are also problems with articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries in “From the childhood” and “wants to learn.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea each, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their grammar and punctuation.
