Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the three requested points: you praise the concert, mention practising at home and at school, and ask for singing advice and song recommendations. However, the musical activities and the help you want are only briefly described, so the ideas remain limited and under-developed. The letter also contains 101 words, which is 49 words below the required minimum; this leaves little room to explain your experience or make a specific request. Develop the details—for example, how long you have been practising, what style you sing, and whether you hope for feedback or a lesson. Use a suitable closing and a more natural greeting to complete the letter.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The message follows a generally sensible order: it begins with your reaction to the concert, moves to your own musical interests, and ends with a request. This makes the purpose understandable. However, the ideas are crowded together in the first paragraph, with several short statements joined by full stops or run together, as in “your voice, confifance. emotion were attract the audiance.your singing style was atractive.” The request also shifts abruptly between questions and a statement. Separate the letter into clear paragraphs and use linking phrases to show how your musical activities lead to the help you are seeking. A closing sentence would give the letter a clearer ending.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “performance,” “singing style,” “practicing,” and “musical skill,” so the reader can identify the subject of the letter. However, the range is limited, and several spelling errors—such as “confifance,” “audiance,” “inportant,” and “practsing”—make parts less easy to read. Some expressions are also not natural in context, including “make a singer” and “I am appreciate you.” Build a wider set of accurate phrases for describing music and requesting guidance, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you express your admiration and musical goals clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Most of your sentences use simple structures, and the reader can understand the main message, but there is limited variety and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. For example, “I recently attend your concert” needs a past-tense verb, while “Music are very important” has a subject–verb agreement error. The request “I would like if you give me some tips” also needs a clearer grammatical pattern, such as “I would be grateful if you could give me some tips.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise accurate past-tense statements and polite conditional requests, then proofread each sentence.
