Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three points: you praise the concert, describe your interest in playing drums, and ask Sonu Nigam to help you improve. The enthusiasm is clear in comments such as “the performance was excellent” and “I am also a big fan of playing drum.” The request for help is relevant, but the details of your musical activities and the kind of support you want are less developed than the account of the concert. For example, you could explain how often you practise, what you can currently play, or whether you hope for advice, lessons, or an opportunity to perform. Adding these specifics would make the purpose of the letter more fully developed while retaining its warm, personal tone.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall shape: it opens with the reason for writing, describes the concert, moves to your own musical interest and request, and closes politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and connectors such as “Moreover” and “Initially” show an effort to guide the reader. However, some links feel mechanical or do not express the relationship clearly. “Initially” is followed by a long sequence of events, while “then after” repeats the same time link; “Even” also does not clearly connect hunger with staying at the concert. Use simpler, more precise transitions and divide the concert description into clearer steps. This would make the progression smoother and reduce the effort needed to follow the account.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the purpose and conveys enthusiasm through phrases such as “excellent,” “extremely energetic,” and “peaceful atmosphere.” You also use relevant musical terms, including “instrumental music,” “drum set,” and “perform.” There are, however, several inaccurate or unnatural choices that limit precision: “happiness and experience about a concert” is unclear, “playing different instruments” does not fit the singer as described, and “I presence all the time” does not communicate your meaning naturally. Some phrases also repeat general words such as “music” and “concert.” Choose more idiomatic expressions and specific musical vocabulary to describe what impressed you and what you do as a drummer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple sentences and attempts at longer, more complex structures, and the main message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors nevertheless affect accuracy. In “I recently attended,” the past-tense account is appropriate, but “I listen” should be “I listened”; “which creates” should agree with the past context as “which created.” The clause beginning “then after your team had started” has an unclear tense sequence, and “could assists me” should be “could assist me.” There are also issues with articles and sentence construction, as in “creates peaceful atmosphere” and “makes all audiences to dance.” Practise forming complete clauses and checking verb forms and agreement, especially when linking events in the past.
