Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You clearly express admiration for the singer, describing his voice as “like a heaven” and explaining that his music relaxes and encourages you. However, the task asks for details of your own musical activities and how you would like him to help with them; neither point is addressed. The letter therefore covers only the performance and your feelings, leaving two key parts of the task unanswered. The response is also one word below the required minimum. To improve, add specific information about an activity such as singing, playing an instrument, or performing, then make a clear request—for example, asking for advice, a lesson, or feedback on your work. This would make the letter complete and more developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The ideas are mostly presented in a sensible order: you introduce your purpose, describe your admiration, and explain how the music affects you before closing with good wishes. This gives the reader a basic sense of progression. However, the letter is one continuous paragraph, and several short statements feel disconnected, such as “Whenever I heard your songs. I was always over the moon.” The repeated references to your feelings could also be grouped more effectively. Use separate paragraphs for your reaction to the concert, your own musical activities, and your request for help. Linking related ideas with clear transitions would make the letter easier to follow and give it a more complete structure.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of expressive phrases to communicate enthusiasm, including “over the moon,” “a piece of a cake,” and “makes me feel relaxed.” These choices show an effort to use idiomatic language rather than relying only on basic vocabulary. However, some expressions are inaccurate or unnatural in context, such as “your concert show,” “your voice is like a heaven,” and “some hint from your songs.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, including “chall eneges” (written as “challeneges”) and “trolled.” Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise language would help you express your admiration and musical interests clearly without relying on several idioms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple sentences and longer structures, for example, “Your music makes me feel relaxed during my tough time” and “I always get some hint from your songs to face the challeneges.” The main message is generally understandable, but errors occur frequently enough to affect fluency. “I am writing to express my feelings how I felt” needs a grammatical link, while “Whenever I heard your songs.” is an incomplete sentence. There are also problems with agreement and verb forms in “one of my favourite singer” and “go ahead and makes our country proud.” Practise complete clauses, consistent tense, and subject–verb agreement, then proofread each sentence for a clear grammatical structure.
