Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

The letter addresses all three requirements and maintains a clear, appropriate purpose: you praise the singer, describe your own musical activities, and ask for help. The performance is supported with specific details, including his arrival on stage and piano playing. You also explain that you have a small studio with instruments and post videos on social media, then connect your request to his teaching academy. These details make the message relevant and reasonably developed. To strengthen it further, explain more precisely what kind of guidance you need—for example, vocal technique, feedback on your videos, or lessons—and make the request more direct. The opening and closing are suitable for a personal letter.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The information is arranged in a clear sequence: you introduce the concert and your purpose, describe the performance, explain your own musical activities, and then make your request. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and links such as “Apart from this,” “Although,” and “for this purpose” show an effort to connect ideas. This gives the letter a coherent overall structure. Some connections are less smooth, however: “At first, concert was not entertaining, but It totally changed” is unclear in its reference, and the transition from your studio and social-media activity to the academy could be more explicit. Use consistent capitalization and clearer linking phrases so the progression feels less mechanical and more natural.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “fantastic abilities,” “musical instruments,” “guidance,” and “polish my skills.” The letter also includes relevant terms such as “studio,” “piano,” and “academy.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “perfwas,” “assistance,” “signing” for singing, and “cherish the whole crowd.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “a fond of singing” and “interest of singing.” These choices do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, but they limit the range and naturalness of the language. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for describing performances and musical interests.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “Although I tried my best … but still I need guidance” and a relative clause in “a post regarding your musical teaching academy.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but errors in articles, verb forms, sentence construction, and punctuation are frequent enough to affect accuracy. For example, “At first, concert” needs an article, “which cherish the whole crowd” has an incorrect verb form, and “I would like if you could help me” is not a well-formed request. Capitalization and spacing around punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate sentence patterns for requests and descriptions, and proofread each sentence for articles, agreement, and punctuation.
