Dear singer,

Good day to you,

I'm writing to express my feeling about your performance in the concert, it was really amazing as am a big fan of ypu and your voice.

I want to tell you about my musical activity, am playing piano in the weekend and sometimes in the school and also trying to be great singer like you, my mother always encouraging me, she said i have a great voice and strong personality on the stage and i hope one day i will become famous like you.

I will be gratefull if you helped me as you are an awesome piano player; i want you to give me honest review, if you agree i will send you the records while am playing the piano and while am singing, and i have no problem to pay you any amount you want.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Zeinab

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you praise the singer’s performance, describe playing piano and singing, and ask for feedback on recordings. The admiration is clear in “it was really amazing” and “I’m a big fan,” while the request is specific about sending recordings and receiving an honest review. However, the musical activities are only briefly described, and the request for help could be clearer about what kind of guidance you want—for example, advice on piano technique or singing. The offer to pay is also not necessary to fulfil the task and could be phrased more tactfully. Develop these details and make the purpose of your letter more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a sensible overall order: you introduce your reason for writing, describe your musical activities, make a request, and close politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “I want to tell you” and “I’m looking forward to hearing from you” guide the reader. Some connections are less smooth, however. The opening combines several ideas in one sentence, and the second paragraph moves quickly from piano practice to your ambition to become famous. The repeated use of “and” also makes parts of the letter feel like a list. Use clearer sentence boundaries and link related details more deliberately to improve progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas and convey enthusiasm, including “amazing,” “honest review,” and “strong personality on the stage.” The tone is generally friendly and appropriate for writing to a performer. However, several choices are imprecise or unnatural, such as “my musical activity” for ongoing activities and “records” for recordings. There are also spelling errors, including “ypu” and “gratefull,” which reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Try using more precise music-related expressions and check spelling carefully. A wider range of natural phrases for praise and requesting advice would make the letter more fluent and polished.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the main message remains understandable. Some grammatical errors occur, particularly with missing subjects and auxiliary verbs: “as am a big fan” and “am playing piano” need “I am.” The sentence beginning “I’m writing to express…” joins two independent ideas with a comma, and “my mother always encouraging me” needs a finite verb, such as “always encourages.” Capitalisation is also inconsistent in “i.” These errors show that longer structures are not yet controlled consistently. Practise forming complete clauses and separating sentences with full stops or suitable conjunctions; this will make your meaning clearer while preserving your expressive style.
