You live in a neighbourhood with a community hall that can be hired for local events. You and several other residents are hoping to arrange a regular evening activity there, and you have agreed to contact the hall manager. You have not met the manager before, so you need to explain your plans and find out whether the hall would be suitable.

Write a letter to the manager of the community hall. In your letter

• describe the weekly board-game evening you would like to hold and who would take part
• explain why the community hall would be a suitable place for this activity
• ask about available times, hire charges and the facilities provided

You do NOT need to write any addresses.
